rsspcts™ is on a mission to reduce inequality, promote health and wellness, and drive social change in aquatics – while increasing the number of Black people who participate in the sport.

Fact:

65% of black adults vs. 40% of white adults cannot swim.

Another fact:

Black children drown at over 3.5x higher rate than their white counterparts.

we cannot live with these facts.

rsspcts™ cares about promoting health and wellness and driving social change in aquatic sports, so along with providing swim education programs to underserved communities, the brand aims to design products to address a lack of protective gear for diverse hair types.

These solutions will level the swimming lanes for all who wish to take part in aquatics, whether for recreation, wellness, or quality family time – everybody deserves the chance to get their feet wet, and not their hair.

Whether building swim skills programs or caps, as with everything else in life, one size has never fit all. And that’s a good thing. An opportunity.

Concern about getting their hair wet is a major barrier that limits people of color’s participation in swimming activities.

Key partnerships will continue to support efforts that bridge communities to the science and technology to develop new manufacturing processes that will promote wellness for many and increase the number of black people who participate in aquatic sports.

Invest in what matters. It’s time to get serious about equality and inclusion in aquatics and create countless new opportunities for society.
